#SaferStreetSummer

Good morning Ringwood,

We hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday.

As part of the #SaferStreetSummer initiative, your local police have been carrying out patrols and engaging with residents.

Insp Ord also helped the team out by conducting foot patrols on Ringwood High Street and assisting with a report of anti-social behaviour.

The Ringwood team have also:

- Sent a court summons surrounding anti social E-scooter use.

- Interviewed a local juvenile about suspected knife carrying in public (he has since been arrested).

- Issued a conditional caution to a male who had illegal offensive weapons in his home address (he has been educated on the law regarding this).

- Attended a emergency call of a road traffic collision in Blashford where the A338 was completely obstructed.

- Engaged with retail about shoplifting (we have gone through a period where none have been reported to us at all) which we hope it due to all our recent charges and convictions.

- Deployed to a emergency call of a cyclist in cardiac arrest in the New Forest (it's not all crime) - Thankfully it was misreported and did not require assistance.

We are also pleased to say that the dog, which you raised, concerns about now has a new owner and is no longer with the male seen on Ringwood high street!

We hope you all have a good day today and if you need us, we will be on duty and ready to respond to calls.
